How to apply for registration

How TO apply for Registration:

 

Application  for  Registration  of  Practitioners: -

 

(1)           An application for Registration of Practitioners under Section 24 shall be made: -

(a)           In the case of the Unani and Ayurvedic System of Medicine, to the Registrar of the National Council for Tibb in Form III, and;

(1-A)         Persons who obtain degree or diploma in the Unani, Ayurvedic or Homoeopathic System of Medicines as a regular student from a recognized institution in the country or from abroad, duly verified by the Embassy of Pakistan in that country may apply for registration to the Registrar of the respective Council on prescribed from.

(3)           The form of application shall be obtained from the office of the Council or, downloaded from the website of the Council.

(4)            Subject to the provisions of the Act, the registration of a practitioner under these rules shall be valid for a period of four years from the date of issuance of registration and shall thereafter be renewable for every period of four years on the application of the practitioner accompanied by a Bank draft or postal order of five hundred rupees drawn in favour of the Council or as may be notified by the Federal Ministry as renewal of registration fee in Form-IV-A. or Form IV-B.

(5)           In case of non-renewal of registration within sixty days of expiry of date of registration, the original registration shall be deemed to have been cancelled and the practitioner shall be liable to action for practicing illegally.
